About

Hi !  My name is Kelly Savage.

Professionally, I am a Regional Manager for a Property Management Company and oversee 13 properties.  I have been in Property Management field for over 30 years.  Challenging, stressful but never dull.  I enjoy challenges, solving issues and helping my managers, teams and residents alike.  With the challenges, comes great rewards, growth for me and a chance to positively affect other lives.

Personally, I’m a woman who is an eternal, hopeful believer in faith, hope, prayer, love and God’s Word.  Throughout my life, I have learned that love has many meanings from loving different kinds of foods, hobbies, friends, pets, and the love for others that comes and go in different seasons of our lives.

Love definitely can be a fickle emotion and one that can leave you hurt and also feel betrayed.  I have come to realize that love as an emotion can change in a minute or over time.  Love as an action, starts as a choice and it is the kind of love that I vowed to learn on a deeper level while on this earth and hoping one day be able to leave a mark of how real love can touch lives and facilitate healing.

In my 20’s, I came to know the love we can feel for our children when God blessed me with two sons.  As my children were growing and I desired to teach them to stand on their own, stand against life’s struggles and do so with faith, love and hope mixed with constant prayer.  It was around that time, that I came to know the Lord in a much deeper, personal and life-changing way to help me along the way to raise my sons.

His love is an everlasting, unconditional love and the kind that would never leave me no matter what I have done and who I am, despite my quirks, shortcomings and weaknesses.  However, I didn’t know that or feel that in my life. Feeling like I was in just survival mode and like life was on auto-pilot, I felt broken and not worthy to love.

Then came God.

He nudged me, loved me and poured out to me as I prayed for change one day. His love took over and penetrated my brokenness, hardness and the feeling of unworthiness. From that time, I was able to receive His love that he has for me.  In that love, came healing, growth and life-changing, peaceful perspectives.  Peace that you truly cannot explain.

That doesn’t mean the struggles seize when you accept the Lord.  Some times get pretty rocky just in a different ways and life still can be difficult to navigate.  The difference is, you realize He will never leave or forsake and the peace that surpasses all understanding can be yours.  Life changes, mindsets and circumstances also don’t automatically change or seize. A process, the transformation, begins to mold you, and as you make choices, with God’s help, your life starts to take on a different meaning and new roads open up.  Continued faith, hope and love combined with His help and your choices is what continues to mold your life.

In 2014, He sent me a man to love me with a deep love that grows deeper as time marches on.  He knew the desires of my heart and knew exactly what I needed.  It started with me accepting His love, loving myself and then being able to pour that love to others. I first received life changing love from the Lord allowing me to accept myself, then in return, give love and forgiveness to those around me.

One very powerful truth I learned along the way. TRUE LOVE heals.  The forgiving, all embracing, unconditional, slow to speak and unselfish loves heals.  True love is also full of peace and joy.  It is full of actions and not the mere emotion or words.

We are all called to love that way while we walk here in this thing called “life”  – together – accepting each other’s short comings, covering each other with love and truth as God touches their life.

What is this blog about? Starts with my daily goal. I want is to walk in love with actions, not by my own strength, but by the One who first showed me how true love heals.

I trip, I fall, I falter and miss the mark, yet love covers me and love covers you.

Let’s walk this out together.  I pray you are blessed by what I share on this blog.

Visit my business, “Revivify ME”, that is devoted to helping others take time outs for themselves and offer resources to nourish the body, mind and spirit.  I am now in my 50’s, loving life and the smallest of moments, and living my best life yet!  My passion for the resources I offer and my blog is to help others along their journeys in life that they may too live their best life and enjoy the smallest of moments.
